All are welcome to attend, regardless of GAAS membership status or fishkeeping status 
Meet fellow aquarium hobbyists. Buy, sell, and swap! 
Feel free to bring your plant clippings, aquarium equipment, and hardscape.
This will not be a vendor event/trade show for businesses. More of a meet and greet and swap for hobbyists. Anyone is welcome, however, but we will not be selling tables or advertising as such.
Bring livestock at your own risk. We highly recommend you pre-arrange a buyer or ask around to gauge interest before bringing livestock along with you to the swap.
GAAS does not guarantee an exchange will take place.
GAAS is only serving as the vessel for which hobbyists may find a common meeting place.
You as the owner must do your own selling, advertising, and negotiating.
Buy/Sell/Trade between individual hobbyists:
Is allowed. Weather permitting it will be allowed to happen outside in the courtyard area.
Livestock sales *between individual hobbyists* are permitted at this event. We highly recommend both parties finalize details and payments and coordinate timeframe ahead of the meet, or don’t bring livestock. Keep in mind summer temperatures.
Please keep in mind Facebook rules do not allow selling of live animals, so no sales talk about livestock on this facebook page.
We can only permit posts that explicitly say “Free”

Important!
At 3:00pm on June 4th at The Arc of Texas (during the swap event) GAAS will be going over proposed amendments to the club’s constitution and bylaws, as well as voting on two new board members.
If you’d like to see specific changes to the bylaws or have your voice heard, we highly suggest that you bring this to the attention of the Board before June 4th, as this will be the final vote on the finalized version of the new proposed bylaws and amendments.
Please be present at 3:00 if you’d like to vote.
We need to elect a new secretary and social chair member to fill the currently vacant roles, in accordance with the current bylaws.
